Amedeo Avogadro’s real name is Lorenzo Romano Carlo Avogadro di Quaregua di Cerreto. Amedeo was born in Turin, Italy on August 9, 1776 and died July 9, 1856. He was born to a wealthy family, the Piedmont Family, which had a long past of distinguished justiceyers. His father was Count Filippo a much respected Italian lawyer and senator. Amedeo married in 1818 to Donna Felicita Mazze, they had six children to comeher.
