Uncle Toms Revolutionaries Throughout the novel Uncle Toms Children, Richard Wright clearly lays out his communist agenda and basically gives downhearteds an instruction manual on how to achieve their independence with socialism. Wright systematically plays on southern blackamoors concerns and religious values to strike down them to communism. He uses clever methods to attempt to change such a large and varied groups way of thinking.
